Windsor, CT – May 9, 2018 – Scapa Healthcare, a global strategic outsource partner of skin friendly turn-key solutions, today announced the availability of a portfolio of ostomy accessories using its Scapa Soft-Pro® Hydrocolloid technology. Scapa’s ostomy accessory offerings of flanges, flange extenders and seals are ready-to-market solutions that can be branded quickly and brought to market rapidly.

Ostomy Flanges consist of a polyurethane foam backing and Scapa Soft-Pro® Hydrocolloid adhesive contact layer on a siliconized paper release liner designed to conform to challenging anatomical areas. The product protects the peristomal skin while providing a secure fixation for one or two piece ostomy devices.  Offered in multiple sizes to fit a range of stomas, the latex-free flanges deliver prolonged wear times while protecting sensitive surrounding skin.

Scapa also offers Ostomy Flange Extenders to provide added security to ostomy applications – even on delicate skin. The moisture-absorbent extenders create a second layer of adherence around an ostomy flange for extra leakage protection. The conformable strips are waterproof, latex-free and uniquely designed with a release cut for easy application.  

Ostomy Seals using Scapa Soft-Pro® Hydrocolloid technology mold to fill in skin folds to provide protection from stoma leakage. Seals are created with natural ingredients like shea butter to be gentle on skin and protect the peristomal skin from damage. Available in multiple sizes, blister cups and individual pouches, the moldable rings absorb body fluids while providing a secure fixation for extended ostomy device wear times.
