Lionel Joined Mativ as President, Healthcare and Wellness in November 2022. Lionel is an experienced global leader with more than two decades working across industries and geographies, including 10+ years of P&L accountability. He is joining Mativ from Ahlstrom where he led its Medical Business unit. He has also held leadership positions with HAVI Global Solutions and Tetra Pak. Lionel has worked in the USA, Asia, and Europe, and holds a master’s degree in International Business in Economics from ISCID Business School (Institut Supérieur de Commerce International de Dunkerque - Côte d'Opale).

Juan joined Mativ Healthcare and Wellness Business Unit in May 2023 as Global Vice President, Sales & Marketing. Juan is responsible for defining and deploying the commercial strategy and overseeing global sales, market development, customer relationship management, communication, and strategic marketing. Juan has over 20 years of strategic sales experience in the healthcare industry and has held multiple leadership, sales, and finance roles at Medtronic and Johnson & Johnson. Juan holds a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana in Colombia and an MBA in International Business from George Washington University.

Matt joined Scapa Healthcare in October 2018 as Senior Director, Manufacturing Operations for the UK facilities following the acquisition of the Gargrave Centre of Excellence from KCI. Matt has since fulfilled the role of General Manager for Europe and UK including responsibilities across Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Safety, Engineering, Technical and New Product Development. Matt has recently transitioned to Vice President of Global Operations for the Healthcare & Wellness Business Unit with responsibility for Operations, Quality and Regulatory in facilities across Europe and the U.S.  Matt has almost 30 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical, Biologics and Medical Device Operations roles with GSK, Johnson & Johnson, Systagenix and KCI.  Matt holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from the University of Central Lancashire, a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from Hull University and is a Six Sigma Black Belt and Process Excellence Lean Green Belt.
